Hi guys,
My son has been a long time Porsche lover and now that he has turned 21 and he has matured, I am looking to get him his first baby to take care of.
The car I have found is a 1982 Porsche 924 T-Bar Automatic and the deal looks too good to be true, which is why I am a bit cautious.
The car has recently had the interior restored as well as the exterior paint resprayed which is why I am slightly concerned that there may have been an accident in its history which I will investigate tomorrow when I see it.
It has full log history which also shows that it was garaged from 1995-2005.
The odometer shows 95,000kms but I think its more likely 195,000 due to their only being 5 digits on the dial.
What are some common problems that occur with the 924 that I should look out for? Or what should I check when I see it tomorrow to be sure that I am not buying a lemon?
The asking price is $4,000 and I want to make sure its not going to die as soon as I drive it out of the driveway.
Any help or suggestions would be amazing and very much appreciated.
