i'm starting to find that hard to believe, i called every fastner place i could find on the gold coast and nobody's even heard of them!
ended up getting some 'Nord-lock' washers, which seem to do the same thing, but they come as 2 washers stuck together, so it takes about 2mm off the lenth of my bolt, on my cv joint that looked like a little too much to take away, but i still wanted to use them, so i put one on every second bolt, was this a bad idea?
but thanks walko, i found a wurth about 25 minutes away so thats handy!
oh, and no damper on my engine carrier so i guess it's an 82 like we thought, one day i'll get around to removing the whole soft top and seeing how well the cut job was done...
ooh i finally took a photo too, i'll take some better ones when it has all 4 wheels on...
