Rather than starting a new thread.....
When the car is not warmed up, I use Durametric to activate the variocam & nothing happens to the revs (ie. no advance). Same on both sides. But once the engine is warmed up, both sides give the RPM surge with activation of variocam via Durametric. Is this normal??
Also, if timing has been checked correct, but camshaft deviation is showing outside limits (rock steady @ 6.75 degs), could it be the chain tensioners being a bit sloppy?
