Thanks for the replies. I soaked it in ATF last night, I'll check it Sunday and see if it's any better.
Someone said to rebuild it. I probably will and I would just tear it down instead of trying to free the rings but it is going to be a MAJOR PITA to get it out of the vehicle it's in
