I count as friends several gay couples, both men and women raising children. They're all doing a fabulous job and the kids are lucky. All of the kids were adopted out of the foster care system, many of them at birth born to hetero moms who couldn't stay out of jail or off drugs. All of the bigots who have a problem with it need to get a life and ask themselves why they care so much about how other people live their lives. I just don't get the hate.
