I had my SC for 14 years. As much as I enjoyed that car, one day I got bored and sold it.

Fast forward 3 years later.
I picked up my Carrera.

It's been a pure joy to be back. More fun this time around maybe in part because I stepped away and took a break.

The 86 has been very reliable.
Just routine maintenance, refurbing the suspension and a new alternator.
Sounds like you're on the right track.

I'm with you on the emotional factor. It is amazing what happens once you turn that key with your left hand.
