Last year for carbs on the 750, has one front brake rotor, 5 speed trans, second year for 3 phase charging system(good), has a steel fuel tank (good) and the rest is similar to the other monsters of that era. With a set of free flowing mufflers and proper jetting it will put down about 60hp at the wheel.
Carb'd 2 valve monsters are the cheapest modern Ducati to service mainly due to accessibility.
That bike really doesn't have any common issues if it is maintained well. Timing belts should be replaced if they are 3 years old or more.
