SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS!

Great Race!

1) It was nice to see Hamilton keep his cool, make the necessary passes, keep on the pressure when needed, and win the race. He bungled the getaway on one pit stop and his crew bungled the other, probably costing him 3-4 seconds total. Because of the above, he was able to overcome the errors.

2) What the hell was Red Bull thinking with their tire strategy? No more than two laps after Hamilton came in for fresh tires, Vettel should have been in as well. By that time, it was clear that Hamilton had the winning strategy.

3) Same as #2, but replace "Red Bull" with "Ferrari" and "Vettel" with "Alonso". Even worse, they NEVER called Alonso in for fresh tires.

4) How is it possible that Hamilton won and Button didn't finish in the points? They have access to all the same tire data. It seems obvious that the key to winning this season is to manage a setup and watch track conditions to keep the tires in the correct temperature zone for peak performance. It also seems possible to wring out extra laps if managed properly. I thought Button was the king of tire management? Does this narrow band of peak performance better match Hamilton's aggressive driving style?

5) When Lotus finally gets their mechanical issues sorted out, I think Raikonen will be a force to be reckoned with. I expect to see a late-season rally from him.
