Just read the linked story - I feel the same way you guys do - someone molesting one of my girls - they're going to meet their maker or come pretty close...

I can see knocking this guy to the ground, but not beating him to a pulp or to death. If the intruder put up a fight, then that's a different story, but so far that hasn't been reported.
Just keep your senses and restrain this guy, get your spouse to call the police and hold him down until they get there.
