Rather than spend (waste?) money on attorneys, why not just return the equipment, collect your deposit and find another source for what you need?
I'm guessing your situation is a bit more complicated than you describe, but at the end of the day, I would not want to conduct
any business with a company trying to screw me over. YMMV.
