Hope you're on the east side of LAX, as there's not much work available west of the airport.
Going north or south, I think the area between UCLA and LAX has got to be some of the worst rush hour traffic around. 10-15 miles will seem long in stop-and-go. Throw in an accident or three and you'll lose patience pretty quickly. Is there anything in between?
I live in the Valley. And when I commute going north on the 405, even at 6 am I see a solid wall of 4 lanes of headlights going the other way from the Ventura Fwy up to near the 14.
