Are you saying an hour and a half from Torrance to UCLA? Hopefully you don't mean from LAX to UCLA.
UCLA and working near LAX are fixed. The choice we have is where to live. $2,000/month is higher than we should go, so we're limited on choices. I'm just trying to find the balance. Maybe we'll just stick with the Culver City area and I'll have to suck it up when I go to Irvine. She'll have homework at night, I won't.
