I'll have a search on the forum to see some of the mods made by others.
I can't justify the price premium for a Bendpak (currently sitting at $400). I am excited about buying parts and saving on labour - although my wrenching talent runs out pretty quickly, it should dramatically cut down on maintenace $$.
Let's hope my wife sees it that way!
Cheers,

Get a truck and a couple of buddy and you are all set.
Google "
where are ben pak lift made"!!! so I would definitely not pay a premium for it.
Before I got the lift, I had never wrench on a car... Last year, I dropped the engine, broke some studs, had to do a Time-cert (my first tap ever), installed SSI's and so on.
Got all the usual books and have fun
