As for the little plastic thing on the throttle cable, next to the parking brake lever, it is easy to replace. Remove the left side seat, remove the fasteners holding the parking brake assembly and gently lift and tilt the assembly toward the right side of the car.

You will see the remains of the plastic thing on or next to the throttle cable. Carefully remove the clip that holds it, remove the remains of the old plastic thing and install a new one.

Be very careful that you don't drop that little clip down into the tunnel because it will be gone and you will have to replace that item, too.
