Rick, many years ago back before computers and cell phones....

I was on a double date with a buddy. I was not dating him we each had a girlfriend! He was a oil patch worker and was making crazy money. He bought a Mercedes S class 6.3 and put a 1,000 watt stereo system in it. I had no idea that was even possible but with a big car and big wallet anything was possible.

Anyway, we were on a road that was on the edge of town back then. We pulled up next to a dude with his new Corvette with a roof off and the stereo blasting country & western. My buddy hit one button and all the windows rolled down on the big Merc and he slipped in a cassette tape. All of a sudden the world erupted. He had Eruption by Van Halen ready to go. The light turned green and we smoked the Corvette running to the next light.

The girls were not as impressed as I was. A huge 4 door car outran the Vette, and the sound level made my ears ring for a day. I had never heard Eruption before that night.

A few months later the oil boom went bust and my buddy had to sell everything for pennies on the dollar.
