When comparing the Chicago architecture to those of Frank Lloyd Wright who was practicing in Chicago in the same period. Wright’s structural logic of tall buildings he designed seems to be the opposite of the frame. While the frame liberates both interior walls and exterior enclosure of buildings, Wright’s structure tries to integrate them as we have seen in Larkin Building (fig.9) and the Johnson Wax Building in Racine (fig.10)
