very interesting, doubt anything will really happen with this imo its too historical and against a financially superlative persons ie porsche.

I get my cars serviced by a independant porsche, merc & bmw chap, he's on his 5th boxster this month with ims failure, 2 owners not getting engines fixed.

I got interested when i saw a boxster getting put on a lowloader for auction. He reckons the earlier ones arent worth fixing. I would happily have a crack but recon engines are pricey and having looked at the threads the access for engine removal is grim.
