I just wanted to thank everyone again for the advice and insight. I'm afraid I won't be able to do the tests and report any results for a few weeks (long story), but here's my current test logic:
Do injector squirt test
If pass - report back here and ask for more advice
If fail - Do HES test (pump on at TDC)
If pass - replace injectors
repeat squirt test
If pass - bike should start
If fail - pull tank, return to dealer for inspection
If fail - remove alt cover and inspect HESs
Which leads to this question:If the pump doesn't pulse on in the HES test, how do I isolate the failure to the HES or the pump?
