I finally finished shortening the G50 tranny. I didn't find it as hard as I thought it would be. A couple notes if you want to try to do it yourself. Go slow. Get the factory manual. Buy a 4 special tools. Don't take apart the syncros if you can avoid it. Get a toaster oven in the garage to heat the parts. Here are some pics
