I built a copy of a Burton "Woody". The first snowboard on the market. Brought it to Germany and when I tried to buy a ticket they looked at it, had a manager come over and look at it, then said they would not let me on the mountain with it. They had never seen one before and likened it to a mono ski. I learned to board on the local sledding hill, where people pointed fingers at me and laughed and on any other hill or road I could find.
Look who is having the last laugh now.

The sport that now attracts more attention than skiing and is known world round.
