we tried to jump start it. starter spins..and it feels/sounds like it wants to start..it does that diesel sound slightly. i dont know crap about the diesel motor. but if i had to guess..it sounds like the motor isnt getting fuel. the glow plug light is not coming on.

2006 truck. fuel filter? some mechanic showed up..i went out there to make sure the truck wasnt being broken into. he knew the owner's name, and had the keys..so i assumed he wasnt breaking in. so i helped.

they man thinks it is the crankcase postion sensor..(i think that i what he called it).,.i think fuel filter (as a complete guess)

knowing jacksquat about diesels..i go with three guesses.air filter, fuel filter, and glow plugs.

any guesses? it is my nice rancher lady's (neighbors) truck. hate to see her ripped off. tow truck shows up later this morning.
