By East/North are you referring to the Detroit area (St Claire Shores / Harrison) or "up North" (Oscoda / Alpena)?
The event calendars for both PCA regions are a little spotty for that timeframe. You'll have just missed the new Boxster intro at one of the local dealers (Thursday the 12th at Motor City Porsche).
If you can swing it, the Rally Sport region (rsr.pca.org) is having a DE at Waterford Hills on Tuesday the 24th. Come out and watch for a bit if you'd like. I'll be there with the 968.
