In my opinion the standard Chucks are too thick (not enough feel), and the lack of a round heal hurts it as a driving shoe. However I have several pairs and enjoy them both walking and driving. I've been temped to belt sand the heel some.
I have some FILA shoes which aren't bad and will consider another pair once these wear out.
I have wide feet, so my choices are limited when it comes to driving shoes. Most of them are way to narrow for me.
