OK, So let the opinions fly. If I didn't value (mostly) the experience found on this forum, I wouldn't be so readily open to hear what those who reply have to say! So here goes. I found these on the Central Coast of the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia a few weeks ago. I doubt they had seen the light of day for well over 20 years. I boxed everything up and had it shipped home to the Midwest. Cars arrived yesterday. I'm in a quandry as to what to do; restore (if so, which one(s)?/hotrod or speedster project(s)/sell, or? Before chiming in please note that the 911's are sans engines and transmissions. Here's what ended up coming home to Kansas; 1967 911T Targa (missing paint code id) / 1968 911E Targa (orig Lime Green) / 1965 912 Coupe (409th built and orig Light Ivory. The roughest one too) / 1968 912 Targa (orig Bahama Yellow) & a 1969 912 Coupe (orig Slate Grey). Still trying to figure out (since ALL eng/trans' are out of the cars) whether or not I have the matching eng/trans' on the 912's. I think I do on the '65. Also included were 9 engines (7-912's/356's and 2-1950's VW's), 4 transmissions + tons of misc parts/pieces. What would you do?
