Good morning folks. I am back at work. Gotta earn some money to pay for the vacation.

Overall I am very impressed with the UTAH roads. Nice and smooth, very wide and well maintained. I wish Oklahoma could emulate those roads.

As I was driving for what seemed endless miles I thought that every politician that pushes for lower speed limits should be forced to drive from Denver, CO. to Kansas City, MO at 55 MPH. Put a GPS in each car that sets off a loud siren if they go over 55 MPH.

The speed limit is mostly 75 but 95 would be better on a LOT of it. There are LONG stretches of arrow straight roads with no hills except overpasses for the other roads. Sometimes you can drive for miles and not be close to any other vehicle.

The only problem with 95 MPH speed limits are the morons with some POS vehicle with bald tires and no maintenance of the suspension and brakes. Maybe set up a system where the driver and the car are certified as a safe driver & vehicle. It will never happen but I can dream!
