Next thing I know I am two weeks behind ,and the work is still pouring in the door, and I am working 75 hour work weeks trying to catch up. Sometimes, it can take me a month, before I am above water, and ready to schedule new work again. All the while, the phone is ringing, with more new work, and customers checking up on existing work. I really do try to keep the lines of communication open, but even that can be hard when you are under the gun, and up against a deadline with a customer, or two who are growing impatient.
These are the times when being a small shop owner sucks.
