i thought about the console mounted cupholder, but the hinge on the console is very weak. i've replaced that piece three times now. i also like having the armrest.
as for the wedge, i never liked it, it was always in the way of the passenger, and it scuffed the leather after a while. cheap and reasonably effective if you drive alone, but pretty crude and clumsy otherwise.
it's amazing how significant this feature is here in socal.
