When we started the enduro races for POC out here, one of the first requirements for fueling was to have a ground wire from the containers to the cars. You would not believe the flak we got from "experts" on how plastic containers were non conductive; they missed the point .
Luckily we prevailed and its been a requirement for ALL race fueling ever since
