Definitely a bad transmission. I blew the transmission in My first 944 I had when I was young 4 times because I didn't know how to not beat on it :-/ I was lucky and never spent over $100 on a used transmission. I can swap a transmission in an hour now haha got pretty good at it. But from what your saying I'm almost 100% positive its the tranny.
