fwiw, the local news showed that he got a standing O when he went to bat in the NY uniform. ..Apparently Seattlites are okay with him having a chance of being on a series winning team.
Personally, I just don't -get- this whole "team" construct. I mean, these players are bought and sold --like Beenie babies-- yet the logo & color of the uniform makes people either cheer or boo. --whacky.
Especially annoying are the fans who are Oh so happy because "
We won" ...We? ...which becomes "they" if a loss is involved. --whacky.
