Glastron Jet boats: hard to convert to a Mercruiser I/O?
I'm after a certain Glastron boat: I've essentially purchased it yet it's 1200 miles away in PA, I'm in Texas.
Glastron also made a common Jet boat version of what I'm after, & there's one locally for under a grand: a few grand cheaper than what I really want. Besides a few aesthetic differences is the jet propulsion vs the I/o Mercruiser.
I think I could sell the Berkeley jet setup pretty quickly, but can you convert a Jet boat transom to an I/O drive w/o a lot of cutting/fabrication?
