With the two cars I have stored there, I could probably barley get by with 9'0". My Audi is 52" high and I have a foot of clearance between it and the lift. Remove 10" and I'm dealing with 2" of clearance. That woudl be close though. And keep in mind you have to raise the lift about 2"-4" to get it off of the locks before it will lower.

I measured my setup about 30 times before I bought my lift. I even built posts out of wood and placed them in the garage to make sure it would actually fit. My OCD measuring paid off, because it ended up fitting exactly as I had planned.

If you go to the website of the lift manufacurer they have diagrams with every measurment you could need. The ones that would be particularly important are the measurment from ground to bottom of the ramps and ground to top of the ramps at each locking location. That will give you what you need to determine if your cars will fit on top and below in your garage. And just keep in mind that you need about 2"-4" extra headroom to lift off of the locks to be able to lower the car.

Hope that helps.
