That's an issue facing those holding 9x16s right now. The "market" for 9x16s has been driven a lot by how they look on the wider cars, and how well they fill the rear fenders. Yes, some folks use them for racing, and for that purpose they will always have value. But for those folks looking to go bigger because they want a bigger look for their street cars, paying $2k+ for some wheels that can be had for about a quarter of that shipped looks pretty good if you're not using the wheels for HPDE purposes. This will naturally depress the market. That is, as long as Euromeister and the others continue to provide 17" solutions.
