I like to think that I end up knowing the procedure better, though.  You can't use the TI-89 on the EIT/FE (Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) exam anyway. But that only bothers me if there will be some weird integrals or nasty derivatives that would take a lot of work to get. I hate doing integration by parts. Seems like whenever I need to use it I end up with a repeating sequence or something that needs some identity or other trick that only the math majors would know.
