I don't think the value would change that much, and therefore would be worth it to the current owner if he enjoyed the new color that much more. Some of the difference would be based on the desirability of the original color and some on the final color. No insult intended for silver bike owners, but I think there's less downside on painting a silver bike. I agree that Motorsport scheme about looks awesome. I love to walk up to that myself. That charcoal gray one in another recent thread looks surprisingly good, too. I would think the later red of the R1100S would look nice as well.
