Not sure on the rules and regulation in America , But in New Zealand you need to have white park lights, located in the headlight housing in my 911 and indicators need to be amber but you can get away with having red rear indicators.
In my Silvia I had two bulbs in the little square lights well the park light was an ultra bright LED and the indicator was an amber bulb.
Always liked the American cars with amber park lights (running lights)
