I learned a new word in English class today (no, it was not friend-zoneing used as a verb -- that came a few weeks ago). It was "jorts". The teacher and the rest of the class was like "What?  " when the girl used it in a response about a book. She said "jeans that are shorts, cutoff".
Right then I and another guy both blurted out "Oh, you mean Daisy Dukes".
