the Z4 competes well with the boxster/caymen, it utterly destroys a 25 year old porsche. sorry, i love my 951 more then anyone, but its closer to 30 years old compared to a near brand new car? no contest.

compared to its contemporaries, no problem, smokes em all, but car design has progressed. dead are semi-trailing arm suspensions, even normal passengers cars are as stiffly sprung, damped, and barred as our cars were stock. bigger, fatter, wider and stickier rubber is the norm on even mild performance cars then our cars came with.

and don't tell me i don't know how to drive, won my class several times with this car:

That's an interesting point. The Z4 just doesn't work for me though. The Z4 hides its limits, you can take a turn fast and feel planted longer than the S2, but once you cross that line there's a problem, had lots of other Z4 owners agree on that, whereas the S2 can easily be controlled once traction is breaking, not to mention you know where the limit is. I spend lots of time weekly in both cars shootin them around corners and the Z4 just isn't as good, but its important to note that our Z4 is an E85 not E89. I admit it's quick, but the S2 is so much faster its ridiculous. I like the BMW, but the S2 is just better by far.
