you don't race so trying to tell some one that has little or no track time is very pointless .
again if you race you would know 1st hand that 1 the same car with deferent driver does not trun the same lap time .
2 you have to know the track . a 12.9 mile track is very hard to learn . even a twisty 2 mile track takes time to learn .
even a factory driver may not know the track like the back of his hand . again it takes many laps to learn the ring being 12.9 miles long .
then there are fast times and there are average times .
but again some one that does not race it's very pointless to try and explain any thing to .
