The guy I bought it from had a '72 targa S in the eighties when he came across this wheel. He liked it with the crest and thought he would install it but never did. He sold the targa in the late eighties. A few weeks ago he was digging through stuff in his garage when he came upon this wheel--it had been tucked away for 25+ years. He had it listed on a local online classified section when I chanced upon it. A friend sent me to the site to look at a pretty nice '70 targa T http://www.ksl.com/auto/listing/9794582 and this was advertised with the cars instead of in parts.
Nice find I think.
