Edit: Looks like the terminus of the Central Railroad of New Jersey. Historic Aerials (dot com) shows it in its former glory in the '30s and '40s. Google Earth Street View reveals that this terminal structure is still there.

Yes, this is Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey. I used to go here when I was a kid.
Recently, the redbull air races were here. It was spectacular. I hope they come back.
