Suspension is DONE!
What started out as a weekend project of changing shocks/struts ended up being a three week suspension overhaul. I ended up with a knocking sound from the driver's front side strut and thought the A arm bushings must have worn done and become more obvious with the pressure of the new shocks so I got the polycarbonate replacements from PP. I found that the amount of work to get them in with Zerk fittings was pretty time consuming so I got the bronze bushings from Elephant Racing and I will tell you, they were very nicely made. I replaced them, the ball joints, sway bar bushings, and went with 21mm torsion bars. I figured that since I was finishing the fronts up, I may as well do the rear so I got 27mm torsion bars, new sway bar bushings, and replaced the spring plates with the Sway-Away adjustables. Now, the car rides a little harsher but it handles GREAT! Thanks to all of you that answered my questions duirng the process because without ya, I would not have been able to get it done! Oh yea, I wrapped it all up with a set of 17" BBS LM's and I could'nt be happier!!!
