Those are so cool! You like the Turk's head? Have always admired decorative knots but never learned to tie any.
When I was a kid in grade school/Cub Scouts, I learned a number of useful knots, e.g., bowline on a bight, sheepshank and a few others.
I remember getting reprimanded, several times, by teachers for teaching my little classmate buddies how to tie a hangman's noose.
