NBC (which has the Olympics) switches to local news at midnight. The weatherman is talking about the "heat wave". He lives in Paso Robles, where it was 103 today. They are expecting maybe 110 later this week.  
Meanwhile in paradise, it was a high of 76 in San Luis Obispo and a high of 59 in Morro Bay today.
