Isn't the rear seat delete simply a "floating" or easily removable box with contours to allow a flush fit in the back?
If so, if one had removable bottom seat cushions made, it may be possible to add in rear lap belts with snap-hook ends to permit quick and easy reconfiguration for those times you want to tool around with the kids and keep the rear seat delete in for all other times.
