Benchmade customer service is amazing.
if you need a good knife, give them a look. i thought i was being nitpicky. i have a folder..i felt the blade jiggled a little (tiny) bit when opened. i also felt a tiny shifty movement in the handles when i flexed the blade.
i sent it in with my complaint, asking if it was normal. no response..they could seriously improve with communication. simple email would be nice. but the blade showed up unannounced right now. looks like they completely rebuilt it!! i can see new bushings inside. blade is super smooth, and very tight within the handle. all new fasteners.
i read the report. they listed the blade movement severity as "HIGH" who knew they took my nitpickiness seriously? they listed it as high priorty. some lady did the repair, signed the forms and sent it back to me..(Sent to my office)
i love good customer service. like a breath of fresh air.
