From talking to people that I know out west, Victoria, to be specific, they don't want that bridge.
Building a bridge that long doesn't seem realistic to me, buy hey, if the Japanese can built an airport in the middle of the ocean, anything is possible.
BC is just about as bad as Saskatchewan for taxes.
