I love Phoenix. Yes, it's hot but the worst is august and then it starts to cool down. Absolutely gorgeous the rest of the year until about the end of April/may and starts heating up again. Everybody lives in their pool.
And besides, it isn't much different than living in cold. Instead of going from a heated place to another heated place, you go from one air conditioned place to another. Actually, I think it's easier. I couldn't imagine scraping ice off my windshield everyday or shoveling snow. Blech!
And yes, I would be fat and ugly if I lived in cold. You are kinda forced to look good if you live in your bikini and sundresses for six months out of the year.
