I left my house and it was still hovering near 100*. I threw a pair of military pants in the car as well as a jacket. I went from 800' to 8,000'. I finally put my jacket on around midnight, but mostly because it had been drizzling on and off and I pulled it out of my car to cover my camera. It was really nice to be in "colder" weather.
My cousin emailed the other day to suggest that I bring a pullover when I go to Europe next month. I wrote back and told him it's been in the triple digits and I am looking forward to cold, rainy weather!
