I thought about starting an identical thread in the RL GT3 forum but I decided not to since the vast majority of them are hardcore track guys (understandable) and would think I was wasting the car just using it for street use. But this one is more of a "lux" version as it is loaded with options, nav, etc.
The Carrera has been in my garage for nearly 12 years now, even during the time that my brother owned it. My ownership period has exceeded any of the other Porsches I've had in the past 40+ years, including three that were purchased after I got this one in 2001.
I just think I'm ready for something a little different. I'm definitely not a waterpumper fan but a GT3 is something special and I believe it will be a fairly entertaining ride. I just wish the 997.1 versions didn't have that damn sunroof!
